GOVERNMENT RESOURCES
ACCESS HEALTH CT

This website helps people in Connecticut find, apply for, and manage health insurance coverage through the state's health insurance marketplace.

CONNECTICUT BIRTH TO THREE

This agency offers supports to families with children who are under age 3 and have either a significant developmental delay based on a standardized test or a medical condition (diagnosed by a doctor) that’s likely to result in a developmental delay. Funding is administered by the CT Office of Early Childhood (OEC).

CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES (DDS)

This agency partners with individuals, their families, and support groups to help individuals with intellectual disability lead fulfilling lives within their communities.

CONNECTICUT STATE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES (DCF)

Provides information about agency regulations regarding Children’s Trust Fund, whose purpose is to encourage and support the development of child
abuse prevention programs and activities, help strengthen the network of community child protection resources, and expand statewide education
and informational activities.

CONNECTICUT STATE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES (DSS)

The website provides a portal for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to access services, resources, and information related to support and care.

FIND YOUR LEGISLATOR

The Find Your Legislator tool on the Connecticut General Assembly website helps users identify their state representatives and senators based on their address or town. By connecting you with your elected officials, this tool enables people to advocate for the full inclusion and civil rights of all people.

LEDGE LIGHT HEALTH DISTRICT

Serves as the local health department for East Lyme, Groton, Ledyard, Lyme, New London, North Stonington, Old Lyme, Stonington, and Waterford, Connecticut.

SOCIAL SECURITY
